Dr. Rick Bhim, BSc, MD (IMG), ND, discovered the profound impact of Naturopathic Medicine upon his return to his hometown of Toronto, following the completion of his conventional medical degree in Chicago. His experience in various hospitals across the Greater Chicago area provided invaluable insights, yet it was the principles and practices of Naturopathic Medicine that truly resonated with him. 

In Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Bhim found the missing piece of the puzzle—the deep connections with patients that he had long sought in his healthcare journey. The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) became the catalyst for this realization, where he delved into holistic care as a Clinical Resident and, notably, as CCNM's first Oncology Focused Resident. It was here that he mastered the art of integrating natural therapies with conventional treatments, collaborating closely with esteemed Medical Doctors from institutions like Sunnybrook, Markham Stouffville, and the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake hospitals. 

Driven by an unwavering commitment to education and patient well-being, Dr. Bhim assumes the role of a passionate educator at CCNM, nurturing the next generation of naturopaths while staying abreast of the latest advancements. His extensive hospital background, collaborating seamlessly with medical colleagues to integrate natural and pharmaceutical therapies, coupled with his private practice experience, uniquely positions him as a comprehensive and empathetic Naturopathic Doctor and educator.
